Laverstoke Park Farm has won a number of 'Taste' awards (like the Oscars of the food industry) for its creamy buffalo milk ice creams. All our ice creams are made with natural ingredients and are free from any of the 'nasties' (preservatives, artificial flavourings, colourings stc) you might find in some ice creams. We now produce over 12 different varieties.
Buffalo Milk Ice Cream Ingredients
All our ice creams are made with natural ingredients and are free from any “FUNNIES” you normally find in other ice creams.
NO FUNNIES – OUR ICE CREAMS CONTAIN:
- NO reconstituted skimmed milk
- NO maltodextrin
- NO artificial colours
- NO E401 Stabilizers
- NO guar gum or carrageenan
- NO mono and di-glycerides or fatty acids
- NO wheat fibre
Ice Cream Flavours
NATURAL: How ice cream used to taste, with the pure natural flavour of buffalo milk and jersey cream. Perfect with puds.
STRAWBERRIES & CREAM: That’s what it tastes like! We think it tastes so special because we try always use fresh strawberries grown in our walled garden.
MANGO: One of our favourite tropical fruits makes this a wonderful summer dessert!
PASSION FRUIT: an intense flavour of passion fruit with a creamy finish.
LYCHEE: Full, but subtle taste of lychee for a different taste experience.
BLACKCURRANT FOOL: intense natural colour and an intense natural taste.
BANANA: remember the taste of bananas and cream? You got it then.
MOTHER'S OWN DOLCE: Just like fresh dolce de leche from Argentina which we love.
GROWN UP COFFEE: We wanted this to be really strong, with a good contrast between bitter coffee and sweet ice cream - award winning espresso in a tu!
CHOCOLATE MOUSSE: Not easy to make but after extensive research we chose this Belgian chocolate – dark and rich - an award winner!
WHITE CHOCOLATE: Lovely sweet, milky flavour brings back memories of childhood.
COCONUT: how paradise might taste with cream poured on it.
LIQUORICE: Like liquorice allsorts in an ice cream – amazing flavour even if you don’t like liquorice.
PEPPERMINT: Refreshing peppermint flavour – lovely in place of an After Dinner Mint!
RUM & RAISIN: made with real Jamaica rum and organic raisins - a proper rum and raisin ice cream.
Allergens
To add to the flavour of our buffalo milk ice cream we do add some Jersey cream, so our ice creams are not recommended for those with an allergy to cows milk, nor to those that are lactose intolerant. Our Rum and Raisin and seasonal Brandy ice creams do contain real rum and brandy respectively, so are not recommended to those with an allergy or aversion to alcohol.
