BBC2 Working Lunch [4th October]
The
BBC2 Working Lunch current affairs programme was
filming on the farm in the last week of September.
We think the reports were positive and interesting
– with different aspects and people on the farm

Laboratory Services & Research
We
opened our Soil Laboratory earlier this year; it is
the only SoilFoodWeb licensed lab in Europe. The aim
is to study the life in the soil and the health of
our food. We are making the testing services
available to all growers whether in agriculture,
horticulture, gardens or amenity landscapes. To find

WINNER OF THE TASTE OF
BRITAIN’S BEST UK FOOD AWARD!
We are
very proud to announce that in September 2007,
Laverstoke Park was awarded the top accolade in
the competition organised by The Daily Telegraph
in conjunction with Sainsburys. Last year we were
delighted to win a gold award for the Best Organic
Product for our Laverstoke Lamb. This year, to
win best overall food for our lamb was fantastic!
Jody Scheckter, founder of Laverstoke Park and
former Formula One World Champion said “This is a
wonderful achievement for all of us on the farm –
and just goes to show that all the hard work over
the last ten years has really been worthwhile. I
think some of the keys to our success have come
from our pastures with a mixture of 31 different
herbs, clovers and grasses so the animals get a
varied diet, slow growing breeds and the work we
have put in to improving the soils. I am extremely
proud to have received this award!”
Laverstoke Park supplies Waitrose buffalo
Laverstoke Park Buffalo Milk and Buffalo Burgers
now available in some Waitrose shops.
We are
very pleased to announce that our Buffalo Milk and
more recently, our Buffalo Burgers are now
available in Waitrose shops primarily in the South
West and London areas. We cannot provide an exact
listing as it does vary from time to time but
please look out for them when you are in Waitrose.
