For a really hearty meal, give these unusual gourmet sausages a try. It’s a pretty safe bet that you won’t have tried anything like this before, as we are the only farm in the country to have a herd of water buffalo.
The meat is flavoursome and beefy, and these smokey sausages have a real tang to them – reminiscent of Continental sausages. Raw they have a red appearance and a really smoky smell. Cooked they are dry and meaty with a good firm bite, which makes them excellent for a slap up supper or a tasty addition to a traditional sausage casserole.

Storage
Keep refrigerated below 5ºC.
If freezing, freeze on day of purchase &
consume within one month.
Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours.
Once thawed do not re-freeze.
Prepare & Use
Preparation: When handling raw meat, ensure all surfaces,
utensils and hands are thoroughly cleaned afterwards. Keep raw meat separate
from cooked foods, ideally at the bottom of your fridge.
This product
contains raw meat and must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.
Remove all packaging.
Do not reheat.
Grill:
Domestic grills vary. The following is a guide only.
15-18
minutes
Grill for 15-18 minutes under medium heat, turning
occasionally.
Fry:
15-18 minutes
Fry in a ½tbsp of
olive oil or lard for 15-18 minutes on a medium heat.
Extra care must be
taken to avoid drying out through cooking. Ensure cooked throughout before
serving. Pinking of the cooked product may be experienced due to the absence of
preservative. This will not affect product quality.
