Our organic black pudding is made to a traditional recipe and will certainly earn its place on any full English breakfast menu, or served as an evening meal with onions, sauté potatoes, or colcannon, or as a starter with scallops.
Black pudding can be eaten hot or cold (thin sliced in salads etc), but for best results fry or grill for 6-8 minutes turning half way through.
You can freeze this product but defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once thawed.
Storage
Keep refrigerated below 4°C after purchasing.
If freezing, freeze on day
of purchase and consume within 1 month. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24
hours. Once thawed do not re-freeze

Sorry but not as good as Stornaway Black Pudding. Delivery was 1 day late for the sausages dated 7/2/2012. We recieved our order 8/2 2012.. Trying not to mention delivery but everything can be sent to the Shetland Isles in 2 to 3 days. We had to wait a week/half. A bit late sorry.
This black pudding was showcased on BBC`s Saturday Kitchen. The reaction of their celebrity guest and panel was so complimentary that I made a note of your company and came to your website. It did not disappoint. Your black puddings are far superior to any we have ever tasted and we are unashamedly hooked.
I must admit to loving Stornoway black pudding but after seeing the Chef's recommendation on Saturday morning kitchen program I decided to try it, and I was disappointed your black pudding is far, by lots, too peppery and is crumbles to easily to turn over or cook properly, sorry but I don't like.

I don't usually eat Black Pudding but for this one I have made an exception, it's lovely and light, not heavy. Leaving out the Barley on this recipe has come up trumps.
After hearing James Martin talking about this black pudding on his Saturday AM cooking programme, i just had to have some, we own a guest house and only serve the very best food, I have told my guests about why I had changed there usual and they too are now ordering it. If you like black pudding you will love this.

Saw this product on Sunday Morning Kitchen and that Vic Reeves was blown away by it (he apparently is a bit of an expert on black puddings)....James Martin said the black pudding had been presented at a Top Chefs Conference and had received rave reviews......I know why !!....amazing product........best I have ever tasted !!

Just one observation, slice it with the wrapper on otherwise it can crumble.
Will certainly be back for more, especially if we can freeze it.
