With our unique farming methods, this will definitely be some of the tastiest, most tender  buffalo you will ever have tasted. Buffalo looks and tastes like fine quality beef. In fact, if you were served buffalo ‘blind’ you might well think you were tucking in to the juiciest, most flavoursome beef steak of your life! After all, it is an undeveloped bovine which is naturally lower in fat than beef.

Our Asian water buffalo are farmed in exactly the same way as our organic beef cattle, but because the whole buffalo herd are not yet all born on the farm they have to be termed 'naturally reared' rather than organic. In a few years the whole herd will have been born on the farm and can then be termed 'organic'.

We have the largest herd of buffalo in Europe with approximately 30% meat cattle and the remainder is dairy herd. Buffalo tends to be lower in fat than beef so requires cooking differently - see our cooking instructions tab for each product.
